what kind of pants to wear for softball?

ok so its really hot outside and i neeed to know if i can wear shorts for softball practice or should i wear sweatpants?

If you have sliders, go for it and wear shorts. Or wear long socks with your shorts. I play softball and I hate sliding without some type of protection. If you have sliders, and you might need to slide, so you may want to wear them if you’re wearing shorts.
Unless it was really cold out, I always wore shorts to softball. Sweatpants would pretty much trip me and I would get way too hot. So I’d say shorts
Just wear sliding shorts and pads or tall socks if you’re going to slide or else you’ll end up with scraped up legs and dirt in your shorts, which isn’t fun
