from experience ( I have a job that requires me to work for 1030pm to 7am)
1) DO NOT take any caffeine in the evening
2) DO NOT drink right before bed (otherwise welll you get the picture)
3) If you find that your not tired keep your eyes closed and clear your mind. (I take Valarian Root to clear my mind right before bed which is an herbal remedy)
4) Dont get out of bed unless you absoutly have to
5) Try going to bed earlier
6) If you still cant rest read untill you fall asleep.
i give the best advice because i play softball.First what you need to do is set your alarm 1 hour early.then take a nice hot warm shower.after that drink a gatorade or a energy drink.this should all help.Dont be scared to e-mail me at softballgrlamanda@yahoo.com
P.S i love to play softball too!

u can skate whenever and wherever u want! that’s the friggen fun of it all!
It is very possible that your just not getting good sleep, that is if your getting enough of it. You could be sleeping on to hard/soft a surface, or there could be too many lights in the room. Another thing would be to go to sleep 1 hour earlier and more importantly get up about 30 minutes earlier. That may sound stupid but if you have time to sit around and relax for a little bit before you leave for practice it can make a huge difference.
O and whatever anyone says NEVER EVER under any circumstances drink an energy drink or take caffeine pills before a practice or game, you can get very sick, the caffeine can heat your body up too fast making it hard to cool down while running/working out and it isnt uncommon for someone to pass out or expierience other symptoms.
