ok ive been playing softball since kindergarden and im planning on trying out for the team at my school in the spring. im pretty good at it but im not the best. how often should i practice? how long should i do things? ex. 20 min of catching, 30 min of batting, etc.
also, i wanna improve in running. it takes me about 10 minutes to run the mile at school and im still completely out of breath. how do i run and not be out of breath after but still get a good time? im aiming for 7-9 minutes for a mile
thxx!!

ok today will be my first ever in my whole life softball practice. im so nervouse beacuse th coach wants me to pitch for him to see how good i am
none of the two pitchers we ahve are any good and everyone tells me how awesoem i pitch. and the coach is really excited to see me pitch beacuse if i become pitcher we might actually win a game!
now the problam: during our free hour i was pitching to my friend kyle and she said that it was really good. but then i started sucking. i couldnt get the ball high enough!!! and now im sooo nervous beacuse if i mess this up then i cant be pitcher1 wat do i do practice is in about an hour and a half!

In the winter its difficult to convince yourself to go practice outside, let alone convince a partner to do it with you.
So what other simple drills can i do inside my house?

I haven’t played softball in almost 10 months, and I’m trying to pick up where I left off. I’ve been taking batting lessons and going to the batting cages every week, but i still want to work on my reflexes and grounding/catching/throwing techniques. Any exercises or drills in mind?
